UPDATING...

If you have a smartphone full of applications or spend hours waiting for the percentage of the load bar of your favorite game to reach the end or if you work with a computer program you will surely have seen and faced this word: updating. Computer systems are programmed to be updated from time to time to improve their processes... I propose that you adopt as part of the processes of your life this mechanism of Informatics.


Both the applications of smart phones and the programs of a computer are designed to be updated every certain time or whenever necessary, this in order to keep their processes running like Swiss clock, when a program is not updated regularly it starts to become obsolete or to work in a wrong way.




The essential function of the update is to keep the software of a program alive, being functional. The same happens when we update our thinking models, our life systems, that is, how we think and how we do or stop doing things.


The most perfect computer we have on our shoulders and resting on our neck. Our head; our mind. As well as all softwares require updates, the same goes for us, however we need to know what needs to be changed, how to change it and finally how we perform an update and how often we should do it.



To make an update you must know that one exists, the process of discovering the update is the first step. For the case of mental processes or systems of a person the same happens. Usually updates are information that comes to us through a book, a video or a comment from a person, however this piece of information has a particularity: it makes you feel that this information was necessary, that this information can change something in your life. It can range from the way you sit in an interview, the way you comb, the way you eat, to the way you think. This is a moment of self (re)discovery.


Do you want to improve your interpersonal relationships? Do you want to improve your self-communication, your self-perception? Do you want to improve the way you look? Do you want to improve? analyze on which systems you are operating and update them, and as soon as you do you can test if your new systems are giving the result you expect, if they are not, update them again. Finally Life is about always getting better.


We usually live from outdated systems, from the way we exercise and diet to how we communicate with people and even with ourselves. It is important to note that each body is a different system and operates differently, but updates are always a tool that extraordinary people are pursuing and is that these updates serve only one purpose: how to be able to live better, how to be better.
