START WITH PURPOSE

When you get in your car and start it, you do so with the purpose of reaching some destination, be it near or far. When you start reading a book, you do so for the purpose of fueling your knowledge or imagination. Every time you start something it has a purpose, the same should happen with every day of your life.


If you have risen from your bed and you continue to breathe, I congratulate you, because now you have 24 hours to enjoy, take advantage and squeeze the most out of a new day of life. Whatever you do with those hours that seem so many, but are so few, you can afford to live 'one more day', or really give an intention to each hour of the day.



Intention refers to that motivation that goes underneath everything we say, do and think during the day and our lives. When we get out of bed, we turn off the alarm that helps us not to be late for work, we prepare and eat our breakfast we act in an unintended way, that is to say that we disconnect, and we start to work on autopilot, imitating those robots that do without asking, without thinking, programmed.


Starting the day with an intention, with a purpose, whether it is a reward or a prize allows us to reconnect and stay in touch with our projects and dreams. In addition to this -primordial- function of starting the day contemplating for what purpose we are going to live it, to do what or enjoy what, it will make us more aware of our words, actions and responses to the situations that may accompany this new dawn.


What is my intention for this day?, How am I going to positively impact the people around me?, What qualities, physical or mental, do I want to strengthen and develop?, How can I take more care of my body? How will I be more compassionate to other people?

When you start your day by asking yourself these questions I know that you will give a purpose to your day, one that complements or helps you keep moving towards your goals. From the answers that may arise from those or other questions that give you more intention for the day, more than having to work to be able to eat, or to be a professional, you will get an enrichment that will be unique, special and will be, for you, something more than a 'plan' for the day.


"Today I will start a new course", "today I will only eat food that will make my body well-being", " Today I will continue to work for my dream.". These intentions will allow you to become more aware of how you do and what you do with your days. With this you will be in greater control of your 24 hours daily and you will fill them with an especially important value.
