Although understanding what motivates you sounds easy, it can be one of the most important and hard tasks you do in life. Not everyone works under the same motivation, so recognizing what motivates you to go ahead is not a job to do lightly.
There are different motivators that represent our psychological needs, however there is no one more important than the other, although it is worth noting that there will be three motivators that determine what really moves you in life.
The 9 Motivators, at the psychological level of a person are the following and all have a positive pole and a negative one, when you are in balance the positive pole is visible, because it benefits both your person and those around you. Exchange: You like access to information, give it and receive it, you are a great communicator and you will feel motivated in a scenario where you can share a great discussion in which the important thing is the information. If you ask a lot of questions, enjoy negotiations, conversations and discussions and read a lot and look for a lot of information, what motivates you is the opportunity to continue learning.
Safety: You like the feeling of calm and peace that comes from knowing what to expect, what the expectations are. You like to know things in advance and anticipate change, which makes you a magnificent glider. If you care easily and enjoy planning and forecasting, what motivates you are clear schedules and a good framework for action.
Adventure: You like news and you are motivated by being able to thrive, you are active and you like to take risks, you enjoy taking new challenges. Influence: You love being and feeling empowered, having authority, you love being entrusted with responsibilities and you tend to be a role model. If you like leadership, show confidence, and like to take office, you are motivated to have responsibilities.
Expression: You enjoy being seen and heard, you tend to stand out from a crowd, you tend to have an artistic touch. If you tend to be a person with a lot of imagination and a touch of innovation, you are motivated by the possibility of innovating.
Freedom: You enjoy being independent and you take seriously and with pleasure your moments alone, having flexibility and the opportunity to choose, is key. If you often take on remote jobs and prefer to work alone, it motivates you to have a lot of flexibility and your own space.
Expansion: You enjoy innovations, great projects and great ideas. You are constantly looking for ways to broaden your horizons and to be in continuous improvement. If you have great visions and ideas and are always looking for new ways to grow, it motivates you to think big and be able to visualize a better future.
Recognition: You are a kind person, smiling and who is easy to get close to others, you like to nourish others and smooth out conflicts. If you like to get to know each person around you, you are motivated by regular feedback, compliments and the possibility of having a nutritious environment.
Communion: You enjoy the company of people and you love to socialize, for you it is easy to connect with others. If you like small conversations and make new connections, it motivates you to organize meetings and plan events.
