HOW DO YOU SOLVE YOUR PROBLEMS ?

Problems come and go, they are part of life, and come in all sizes and colors, there are problems that can be solved faster than others, some that will require a little more time and others that are a matter of life and death. Knowing how to solve problems in the right way is a life necessity for all people.

Although this 'problem solving' is something we have done since childhood; when we learn to sit, crawl and move, walk without stumbling and talking, it seems simple, natural, as such - and as it is so familiar to us - we take it for granted, we realize it as a reflection. This is a problem to the extent that the solution may not always be the best.

Our brain is connected and designed to work in the fastest and most efficient way, which means that in the possibility of being able to find shortcuts, it will take them. That is to say that our way of solving problems is - in practice - the proven-true methodology. We use habits that are most familiar to us. Which means that in a majority of cases we solve all the problems as if the solution were a hammer and all the problems were nails. Serious mistake.

Although it is tempting to solve each situation using habits that are familiar to us, it does not mean that they lead you to the best solution. Solving problems is an art, and we can continue to do it getting the same results, or looking for solutions that lead to better outcomes. More than a habit or a tool, solving problems, it must be a mentality. This leads us to see beyond the problem, a challenge.

The process of developing a more creative way of solving problems also helps us to develop a more pro-active way of living, deepens our personal growth and learning. The benefits are obvious. Solving problems in a creative way has many aspects and brings with it personal and collective growth. Once you have connected with the problem / challenge, and the detective work has been completed that leaves more clues and ideas as you progress, finding novel solutions and answers becomes a way of living.
